HeadTimer.com is Automathic flush systems for marine boats
Head Timer Automatic Flush System
Sanitation aboard boats presents some peculiar difficulties and require some not-so-ordinary measures to be overcome. One such problem is lingering odors from toilets, known on vessels as heads.
HeadTimer.com offers an innovative, eco-friendly solution to head odors, caused primarily from the backup of water trapped in intake hoses and strainers. Therefore, a solution by regular flushing of the system is the most effective way to cope with the odors. Four different models of head flushing timers are available to prevent head odors on any type of vessel.
About the Company
Head Timer is a brand name of Maritime Sanitation Technologies, Inc., located in Ponce, Puerto Rico. The company was founded in November, 2006 by partners Luis Santos and Luzanne Wirshing; both have decades of maritime service between them. They recognized the need for a means to permanently eliminate odors from boat heads and now their innovative, eco-friendly Head Timer system is patent pending.
Features of the Head Timer
Adjustable Intervals
Basically, all timers allow the operator to set two separate intervals. The length of any one flush can be set from 1 to 60 seconds, with the factory pre-set at 20 seconds. The second setting is for the length of time between automatic flushes, which clear the pipes. This comes pre-set at 12 hours, but is adjustable anywhere from 1 to 99 hours. This allows the system to be flushed when the boat is left unattended.

Easy to Install
All of the models are housed in a separate box, only 7 x 5 x 5 inches. They can be installed anywhere in the vessel (but do require wiring into the head flushing system), and can be mounted in any position.
Compatibility
Head Timer technology is compatible with standard motor yacht head technology. The unit will fit 18 different popular brands/ models of heads. A special interface adapter is offered for Raritan Atlantes, which operates in a slightly different manner. The company offers custom interface work for models not serve by their standard timers.
If a vessel is equipped with two or more heads served by only one water intake, a Head Timer single inlet combo adapter is required, which the company also sells.
Eco Friendly
Head Timer is an eco friendly way of removing odors from the boats. It does not use any of the chemicals that are harmful for marine life.
Additional Features
Higher models offer additional features. In situations where available water flow to the system might be a concern, HeadTimer II adds a flow sensor to the basic model. HeadTimer III includes a sensor that detects if the holding tank is full, and will shut the system down if that condition is reached. HeadTimer IV includes both of these extra features.

How Much Does it Cost?
Prices for the various models range from $300 to $700, with shipping via FedEx or USPS at the standard rates of those carriers. Contact information for address, phone, and email is readily available at the web site for customers who may have additional questions.
Money back Guarantee
Maritime Sanitation Technologies, Inc. offers a 60 day, 100% money back guarantee. In case you are not satisfied with the product, you can simply return it and get 100% of your money back.
Competitors
Because of the highly specialized nature of the product it's hard to find a company in the market which offers a product similar to Head Timer. Developed by Louis Santos, one of the partners of Maritime Sanitation Technologies, the concept of getting rid of the bad odors through a system that can regularly flush out the stagnant water is so new that it has been applied for a patent. The one company of note which offers a product somewhat similar to Head Timer is CycleFlush.com. The relative merits of the two products are for the reader to judge but the makers of Head Timer claim their product to be a lot more elaborate and easy to handle.
